**Client**

Brightside Recruitment is partnering with a specialist family violence organisation based in Melbourne. This organisation is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, serving the community over 30 years. They are dedicated to providing advocacy and support for the empowerment of Aboriginal women, children, young people, and the wider community.

**Role**

As a senior member of the team, the Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the human resources functions within the organisation.

This includes driving HR initiatives, managing policies and procedures, and delivering high-quality HR services to our diverse workforce.

The role involves strategic HR and workforce planning activities, contributing to the implementation of a 5-year strategy, and ensuring that HR systems and processes are robust and culturally aligned.

**Criteria**
- Bachelor or Masters level in Human Resources Management
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- Current Victorian Police Check
- Must have awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal societies and cultures
