Internal Compliance Auditor

**WFH - Immediate Start - 35Hr Week**

**Req'd to have Drivers Licence and own transport-Onsite Audit and meetings 1-2 days per week Various Sites - Fairfield / Maitland and Raymond Terrace**

**3 month Contract - NFP - $90k + Super (pro-rata) with a view of permanency**

Designing and delivering sector leading services Great opportunity exists for a Operational and Compliance Auditor to join initially for 3 months with a view of permanency.

As a part of the Legal, Risk and Compliance Team, the purpose of the position is to coordinate and actively assist in addressing its assurance requirements across internal audit at all locations.

**Key Accountabilities**:
Provide an independent internal audit function in line with organisations business objectives, legislative and professional standards and guidelines. The role is responsible to provide internal audit services to optimise the organisations operational performance, planning, management and decision making.

**Key Activities**:

- Implement Audit Plan to systematically target areas of risk, review operations and assess the level of compliance with legislation, regulation, contracts, policies and procedures
- Undertake ad-hoc audits in response to business needs and emerging risks
- Determine audit scope
- Collect and review evidence towards scope of audit results, prepare and present audit reports and reflect audit results, include recommendations and document the audit process
- Identify opportunities for improvements, facilitate and support the business to develop and implement action plans and strategies and monitor the implementation of such action plans and strategies
- Undertake assessment and investigation relating to complaints and matters of non-compliance
- Communicate and work collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders, provide required communication and training to enhance employee awareness of issues and responsibilities
- Promote a positive culture and values through open, fair, and transparent decision making and ethical, professional behavior

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Degree of equivalent professional qualification relating to Legal, Risk and Compliance internal /external Audits
- Previous experience as an Operational and Compliance Auditor
- Excellent Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills
