**About the Role**

As an active member of the Merchandise Leadership Team this position will see you managing multiple projects across Endeavour Group, partnering and influencing with a variety of stakeholders in a complex structure; providing leadership, support, guidance and coaching for the successful implementation of our merchandise transformation ambition.
- Lead in development of the merchandise strategic plan, and provide thought leadership, including structuring problems and defining the plans of action to solve.
- Role model partnering across Endeavour, ensuring initiatives that touch our buying and merchandise team are scoped, resourced and delivered.
- End to end delivery of key transformational programs with effective problem solving of key business challenges and programme management to deliver the Merchandise Strategy.
- Manage the delivery of the overarching benefits plan including commercial outcomes (circa 50% of FY24 incremental GP budget aspirations).
- Manage the delivery of people, process and system improvements, and overall voice of customer, team and supplier metrics.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholders including cross functional teams in side and outside of merchandise and external suppliers and vendors.
- Enable delivery of key initiatives & programs of work through stakeholder engagements, change management, communication, training and tooling support.

**About You**

You’ll have extensive experience partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver complex and significant transformation programmes that support the key strategic objectives of a large business. Ideally you will have experience driving these transformation programmes within a Retail Merchandise/Buying function and will also have exposure to liquor or a similar industry.

You are adept at people leadership and passionate about developing and coaching teams, you enjoy leading teams and get things done through influencing and credibility rather than relying on hierarchy and reporting lines. Your ability to influence horizontally and to drive alignment and prioritisation across competing objectives will be one of your stand out skills.
- Experience (10 years) partnering with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver end to end complex transformation programmes including strategy, planning, change management and implementation.
- Experience partnering with other functions across IT, Digital and Advanced Analytics teams to provide breakthrough and industry leading capabilities
- Proven experience (6 years) coaching leaders and managers through a business change cycle to deliver high levels of end user adoption and team satisfaction
- Highly experienced in large, complex transformations, understanding cross functional needs and dependencies in a large and complex business
- Strong influencing, stakeholder relationship and communication skills.
- Acute business acumen and understanding of commercial fundamentals - particularly across business units and functions.
- Experience of managing programme budgets upwards of $50M and delivering positive business returns on funds invested.
- You are highly organised; detail focused but with an ability to also see the bigger picture and have proven experience delivering multiple projects/programmes at once.

Other desirable experience:

- Delivering complex programmes powered by data and artificial intelligence technology.
- Delivering large scale SAP implementations across the merchandise function.
- Delivering digital transformation to support a merchandise channel strategy.
- Understanding of the key drivers and levers of price and promotion to drive financial outcomes.
