Adecco is currently seeking an Intake & Registration Officer. The position is 6-month contract with potential for extension for the right person. Within the NDIS sector, you will a crucial role in providing support to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute their expertise and grow within our dynamic organisation.

**Description**

As an Intake & Registration Officer, your duties will include:

- Ensure that carers meet the eligibility requirements for accessing services and supports
- Work in a call centre setting
- Registration of carers into the Client Management System
- Support carers who call in crisis and triage calls appropriately based on carers immediate needs
- Utilise the Carer Support Framework to complete intake and registration
- Provide information to carers on the process for intake needs assessment and planning, and available supports
- Schedule assessment and planning appointments for Carer Support Workers
- Conduct Risk assessments, including assessment of suicide risk and violence risk, develop action and safety plans to mitigate any risks, providing follow up support if required, and communicating all risk with Coordinator
- Provide carers with information on internal and external programs/services ensuring referral pathways for carers and their families.
- Ensure referrals are provided to service delivery teams with accurate and complete information that allow for the timely commencement of service(s)

**Profile**
- NDIS Experience
- Administration or Call Centre Experience
- Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

To be successful for this position, the following is essential:

- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Blue Card
- Yellow Card
- Covid-19 Vaccination (including booster shot or medical exemption)
- Police Check - no older than 12 months
