**About the Role**

The Social Media Manager (Faculty channels) plays a pivotal role in enhancing the university's global reputation and engagement through strategic social media initiatives. Responsible for overseeing approximately 30 faculty social media channels and leading a high-performing team of Faculty Social Media Advisors, this position drives communication and marketing objectives through the ongoing delivery of channel strategies, creative content, insights, resourcing and budget optimisation.
- Reporting to the Head of Social Media, this role also leads the management and analysis of issues as they arise through social media, exercising high-level judgement and collaborating cross-functionally with the Strategic Communications team to protect and enhance the reputation of the University.

**Who We Are Looking For**

You have considerable experience in social media strategy, issues management and content development. You will demonstrate a proven track record in building and maintaining relationships while effectively managing multiple stakeholders. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with experience in people management and relationship building with senior executives, are essential for success in this role.

You will also have:

- Demonstrated significant work experience within relevant marketing and communications field and post-graduate tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, finance, business or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Demonstrated successful delivery of strategic marketing and communications activities within a large and complex organisation.
- Proven track record managing issues and crisis management in complex environments.
