**About the Role**
This is a fantastic opportunity for a social media professional to join our supportive and collaborative team. In this role, you'll work with diverse stakeholders to enhance the University's research, teaching, learning, and campus engagement initiatives through the University’s headline social media channels. Working under the guidance of the Social Media Manager, and in collaboration with a Social Media Advisor, you'll create and curate engaging social media content using best practices and innovative strategies. In this role, you'll showcase your innovative approach to social media and exceptional writing skills while gaining valuable experience representing a leading Australian university on a global stage.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Contribute to the success of integrated marketing and communications campaigns
- Create original social media content in the form of videos, photography and short-form copy
- Support in the escalation of reputational issues as they arise through social media moderating

**Who We Are Looking For**
We're seeking a social media professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be confident in content development, capable of working both independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders to create engaging content. Attention to detail and exceptional copy writing skills are essential.

You will also have:

- Some work experience within relevant marketing and communications field
- Demonstrated successful delivery of social media initiatives within a large and complex organisation
- Experience in social media content development and execution strategies
- Excellent track record in time management and executing projects
- Experience in internal stakeholder engagement and management
- An understanding of the higher education landscape preferred but not essential
