The VEC is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Coordinator to join our Information Technology Branch and help support staff and major election events. This role is a great opportunity to help drive best practices and continuous improvement in VEC’s modern cloud first environment which is required to scale to serve over 4 million voting Victorians every two years. **About the role**

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the IT Branch's Service Desk, ensuring all requests and incidents are recorded and resolved in accordance with the IT Branch governance framework. You will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of technical documentation, processes and manuals.

**What you'll bring to the role**
To succeed in this role, you will:

- have experience in supporting an IT Service Desk function within an ITIL framework
- have experience supporting a Microsoft 365 cloud-based environment
- have high level of verbal and written communication skills
