What will your day look like

As a State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and profitability of Transaction Banking in NSW. You will manage and develop a sales team of Cash Management Specialists to execute on new to bank acquisition strategy, ensure strong understanding of customer needs and extend share of wallet. You will also execute effective sales coaching strategies, achieve alignment with Commercial strategic objectives, and be responsible for direct sales and customer engagement within Commercial.

**Moreover, you will be accountable for the following**:
Drives business origination strategy and capability as well as growth within existing customer portfolio
Growth in Transaction Banking revenue & FUM and achievement of revenue targets
Drive in customer centric culture with strong focus on needs-based conversations and appropriate sales strategies
Increase in number of customers and market share
Overall customer satisfaction
Achieve leverage from product partnering opportunities with Relationship
Drives quality frontline banker education and engagement
Effective pipeline management using Iknow and sales process, quality submission of information to middle office teams and Cash Desk

- Sound leadership skills, with proven experience in achieving results through collaboration with others and a track record in effective coaching
Strong customer relationship management, networking and negotiating skills previously demonstrated in winning new customers and closing transactions
Good understanding of Working Capital Management (at both financial and operational levels)
Proven ability to create relationships and influence outcomes and behaviours of key internal stakeholders
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think laterally and the flexibility to work in an environment of constant change
Strong communication skills in order to manager client expectations, including professional presence and exceptional presentation skills
