**Your New Role Looks Like This**:
The Manager, Transactions and Execution is responsible for a range of activities to support the growth of the Australian Unity Social Infrastructure business. Reporting to the GM Corporate Development, this role is responsible for the identification, analysis, coordination and execution (as applicable) of major new initiatives (e.g. new capital partnerships), transactional activity (e.g. portfolio-level M&A), entry into adjacent or new strategies (particularly in the Living sector) and/or new mandates within existing strategies managed by the Social Infrastructure team.

The role will have three primary functions: transaction origination and analysis, supporting capital origination and coordination and execution of initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

- Working with the GM Corporate Development to originate and/or coordinate a pipeline of opportunities to support the growth strategy of the Social Infrastructure business as well as new funds / mandates
- Prepare and coordinate inputs for submissions, investor presentations, proposals and board papers for strategic transactions within Social Infrastructure
- Provide bottom-up financial modelling and underwriting support for acquisitions, divestments and M&A opportunities
- In conjunction with the Senior Manager, Treasury & Debt Capital Markets, continue to establish, build and maintain relationships with debt providers across all markets (including bank and non-bank debt)
- In collaboration with relevant GMs, support equity capital raising activity to enable the growth of both the existing strategies (if major transactional activity is envisaged), as well as for new funds and strategies with a focus on the middle/private markets including HNW/UHNW/family offices, wholesale and institutional channels both domestic and offshore
- Coordinate and execute transactional activity being pursued within existing or new strategies

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualification in a related field is essential. Successful completion of a relevant post-graduate qualification is preferred (e.g. CFA)
- At least 8 years of experience in financial analysis and/or origination roles in real assets (equity, debt or transactional)
- Strong understanding of property investment and funds management and structuring - including experience preparing investment committee and board papers, investor presentations, etc
- Exceptional commercial acumen, with understanding of business drivers and an ability to liaise with stakeholders (both internal and external) at all levels
- Expert financial modelling, financial analysis, investment underwriting and due diligence
- Transaction origination capability
