Our specially trained doctors, nurses and aircrew use helicopters, turbo prop aircraft, aeromedical jets and patient transport vehicles to provide critical support to over 8,500 patients each year.

**The role**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and commercial partnership specialist for the role of Head of National Sponsorships. The role manages an impressive suite of existing partnerships and has access to a portfolio of assets to assist in securing new corporate sponsorships and donations.

Reporting to the new General Manager of Fundraising and Community Engagement who has been tasked with creating a new strategy, your responsibilities will include:

- Development and execution of a corporate acquisition program achieving agreed financial targets.
- Working with a wide cross section of internal stakeholders including doctors, pilots, engineers, and nurses to prepare and deliver opportunities for sponsors.
- Growing and managing existing corporate relationships generating increased income.
- Delivering against sponsors contracted inclusions.
- Monthly reporting of outcomes for corporate sponsorship and donations.
- Working closely with the GM Fundraising to set the corporate sponsorship strategy.
- Developing reports and contributing to fortnightly fundraising leadership meetings
- Attending networking events and assisting in CareFlight’s events (as required).

**To be successful in this role you will have the following**:

- Ability to identify and understand the operations of CareFlight to effectively align sponsors to our work.
- Demonstrated track record in identifying a list of top prospects based on synergies and develop / execute a structured sales acquisition strategy.
- Demonstrated track record in acquiring and developing new business.
- Demonstrated track record in growing existing business relationships.
- Proven ability to develop and present a successful business proposal.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Effective and efficient time management with a focus on ROI as well as the ability to work independently.
- Ability and motivation to network with corporate and business partners to achieve sales objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written).
- The willingness and ability to make cold calls, overcome objections and close a business deal.
- Competence in public speaking.
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Current driver’s license.

The following will be highly regarded:

- Degree qualifications in business, marketing or related area.
- Existing corporate and business contacts who can be approached for sponsorship.
