Sika Australia is currently looking for a driven and results focused
- **Market Field Manager-**
**Tunnelling to** help drive sales, provide customers solutions and support to our Tunnelling business within
- **Australia.**
- This role is a great opportunity to be a part of a high calibre team providing best in class technical customer support for underground construction chemicals, with the opportunity to become cognizant with all aspects of ground support and ground consolidation within the tunnelling environments.
- Please note regular travel within Australia and occasional travel to international mining operations is expected in this role.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- A pro-active team member in the tunnelling and mining division
- Product strategy, development and portfolio management
- Customer relationship management, regularly meetings with prospective and existing clients to provide solutions, coordinate product training and capitalise on growth opportunities.
- Provide technical know-how, sales services and after sales service to customers.
- Identify new business opportunities with prospective customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proposals and presentations to support the achievement of major sales projects.
- Technical service and support all customers to achieve budgeted turnover and contribution.
- This role requires regular visits to Mining sites and working outside of normal business hours._
**We Need Your Skills**
**A LITTLE ABOUT YOU**:
To be successful within this role, you will have or be able to demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical, or Mining Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines
- A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience within the tunnelling or underground construction industry
- EFNARC qualifications & unrestricted driver’s licence.
- A passion for the tunnelling industry and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
- The ability to take initiative, be conscientiousness and committed.
- A proactive pragmatic attitude combined with the ability to work independently.
- A thorough understanding of TBM’s, NATM and relevant tunnelling product knowledge
- Experience and knowledge of construction chemicals and sprayed concrete
- Comfortable in liaising with all levels of decision makers and, working directly with B2B, B2C and Channel Distribution
- Ability to develop in sales, business development, negotiation & closing skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service/relationship building skills
- Advanced computer & analytical skills
