**Client Details**

**Description**

WHS Coordinators play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with all WHS regulations, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in workplace health and safety practices. **Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**:

- Developing and implementing effective WHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conducting risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to management and staff on WHS matters.
- Delivering engaging training sessions to promote safety awareness and best practices.
- Investigating incidents and accidents, ensuring timely reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Staying updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in WHS.
- Leading a team towards the achievement of KPIs, providing ongoing training and managing individual and collective performance.

**Profile**

**Please ensure you meet the minimum requirements before submitting your EOI**:

- Relevant certifications or qualifications in WHS or related fields (OHS, HSE, WHSE or others).
- In-depth knowledge of current WHS legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness and availability to perform office and field-based duties.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and developing safety strategies.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles or 2 years of experience in entry-level WHS-related positions (highly desirable).
