Do you want to be part of developing and leading a multidisciplinary team which provides eating disorder assessment and treatment to identified consumers in day program, outpatient and inpatient settings.

We are seeking a mental health manager who has extensive leadership and operational experience together with experience in delivering high quality specialist mental health and/or eating disorder treatment.

**Mental Health Program**

Monash Health Mental Health Program provides a range of community, bed-based and specialist services covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash LGAs - a population of nearly one million. It has an operational budget of $130 million and employs approximately 820 EFT, representing over 1000 staff.

Psychology and Specialist Services (PsySS) in the Mental Health Program runs a number of programs across Monash Health including the Wellness and Recovery Centre.

**About Wellness and Recovery Centre**

The Monash Health Wellness and Recovery Centre (WRC), A Centre of Excellence in the Treatment of Eating Disorders**_ _**is a multidisciplinary specialist service and integrated model of care for people with eating disorders. Through a combination of therapy and meal support, our multidisciplinary team works with participants to achieve nutritional rehabilitation and normalisation of eating behaviour. There is a strong focus on correcting dysfunctional attitudes around food, eating and weight, improving body image, and assisting consumers to identify, understand and manage issues that have contributed to the development and maintenance of their eating disorder.

**About You**

You are a senior mental health clinician (P4/SW4/OT4/SP4/RPN5) who is experienced, energetic, and determined in the operational roles you have undertaken within mental health and/or eating disorder settings. You’re serious about developing high performing teams and leading them to improve the effectiveness of the clinical interventions provided. You work collaboratively and think flexibly about balancing clinical and operational demands and measure and improve outcomes for our consumers. Your track record includes demonstrated success in the following areas:

- Leading multidisciplinary teams
- Working effectively with clinical leads and highly skilled staff within teams
- Liaising with effectively negotiating with people and services to improve patient outcomes
- A commitment to access and service provision in public mental health
- Mentoring, coaching and supervision of staff and health professional students
- Previous experience in continuous improvement including measuring clinical effectiveness, and undertaking quality and research initiatives

You are highly motivated and thrive on the challenge of supporting and developing teams and clinical programs. Naturally you have strong written and verbal communication skills, you are a team player, and possess well developed negotiation and influencing abilities that will be used in working with internal and external stakeholders involved with identified individuals.

**What You Need**:

- Current, general registration with AHPRA (as appropriate to the discipline)
- AHPRA PsyBA endorsement in either forensic, clinical, or clinical neuropsychology (for psychology)
- AHPRA registration to supervise post-graduate program students and registrars
- 10 years or more of proven clinical experience as health care professional
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams preferably in healthcare
- Experience in mental health and/or eating disorder assessment and treatment
- Working with Children’s Check
