**Job Description**:
Responsible for the Market Development of the Sustainability Solution Segment as Subject Matter Expert for the ANZ Business in addition to managing sales and profitability for a set of accounts. The role will drive a focus shift from Account Management to Market Development. The MDM will drive opportunities via a focused Business Development approach engaged across the value chain from the brand owner through to the consumer. Opportunities bred at the source allowing greater differentiation and opening new revenue & margin streams.
- Brand Owner (BO) engagement
- Engaged across the Value Chain: +/- 2 from Avery Dennison
- 3rd Party Contractors / Packaging
- Primary Producers
- Designers / Packaging Technologists (non BO aligned)
- Subject Matter Expert specific to the Avery Dennison sustainability segment Nationally:

- Stay abreast of industry trends by attending trade shows, events and staying on top of market insights as well as global branding trends
- Management / Ownership of go to market strategy for Business Development (BD) / sustainability Product Portfolio and End User (EU) Engagement where applicable
- Act as voice of the customer within AD providing trends and insights
- Segment mapping (size, value etc)
- Competitive intelligence
- Drive sales, throughput and overall gross profitability for designated accounts leveraging internal sales team to support our customers and their enquiries
- Lead pricing, marketing and product strategies to maintain and grow share within the designated accounts
- Model the use of Sales Excellence and Sales Enablement processes to ensure alignment and execution across the commercial organisation; and to drive increased customer satisfaction

**Qualifications**:

- Strategic National Key Account Management Experience
- Deep Industry Knowledge over a period of years (packaging adjacency preferred)
- Significant experience in BD focus and execution
- Strong analytical, financial & problem solving acumen
- Highly collaborative mindset
- Strong previous experience in working in multi functional environments (internal + external)
- Complex Project Management skills
- Bachelor’s degree or marketing/business qualification is required
- Demonstrated successful experience in a position of similar responsibilities.
