To enhance our company’s presence in the market, we seek a highly organised and dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to efficiently advertise and sell our products, creating a competitive edge in the solar industry.
**Key responsibilities**
Working directly under the managing director, you will be developing sales plans, creating compelling advertisements, and developing effective marketing and pricing strategies. The role involves leading multiple teams of sales contractors, and supervising the sales and marketing activities of the company to achieve these goals.
- Planning, designing and implementing advertising, merchandising, promotion plans to achieve sales and marketing objectives.
- Determining annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales targets; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analysing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, supply and demand.
- Identifying market opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, analysing competitors’ activities and industry trends; forecasting projected business.
- Improving product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalising on market opportunities.
- Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to highlight our product and service value.
- Establishing and maintaining strong connections with existing and potential clients via comprehending clients’ needs and customising solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Staying current on regulatory changes in Australia to drive product updates and solutioning as appropriate and facilitating client communication.
- Sustaining rapport with key B2B accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; and anticipating new opportunities.**Qualifications & experience**
To be considered for this role, you are required to have:
- a bachelor or higher degree in commerce or business.
- at least 2 years of experience in a similar role in a commercial environment.
- demonstrated ability to plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate comprehensive sales and marketing activities.
- results-oriented mindset with a drive to surpass sales targets.
- self-motivated, proactive, and capable of independent work.
- proven experience in leading a team towards achieving goals.
- excellent communications skills within an organisation and with clients.
