We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to assist our team in the execution of our annual Marketing & Membership Programs, to enhance company brand, and to contribute to the overall profitability of the business.

About the role

  • Digital Marketing creating and posting engaging content for social media platforms, EDM's, website content, update sensis / google listings.
  • Monitor traffic / engagement to all digital platforms.
  • Assisting in the development and distribution of marketing and promotional material.
  • Helping conduct and collate findings from market research.
  • Assist in identifying new business, Membership prospects and maintenance of relevant data lists.
  • Communicating with "inactive / nospend" Members and reporting on findings.
  • Prepare and distribute "welcome packs" for new Members.
  • Assist in compilation of quarterly newsletter content.
  • Assist in general marketing strategies, i.e. events, promotions, advertising.
  • Assist with the coordination of major annual events
  • Trade Shows, Major Customer Forum, Members Conference, Team Awards Function.
  • Developing digital multimedia where required video, photo briefs and content.
  • Developing and championing new social media opportunities including month to month content creation & curation, management of paid marketing campaigns and reporting on relevant social media

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Digital Marketing & Communication, desirable
  • The capacity to manage several tasks or requests simultaneously.
  • Experience in creating and Optimising Google Ad's Campaign's is preferred but not required.
  • Experienced with SEO tools such as SEM Rush or Ahrefs Campaign's is preferred but not required.
  • Experience using Marketing Automation software like Mailchimp and Active Campaign is preferred.
  • Experience using design software such as Canva and Illustrator/Photoshop is preferred.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Ability to establish relationships with all key business stakeholders.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms like Shopify/Adobe Commerce is preferred but not required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a TEAM player.
