Our Purpose

VicReturn is an exciting new business, tasked with the oversight and administration of Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme (“CDS Vic”), which is scheduled to launch in November 2023. At VicReturn we are motivated to help keep beverage containers out of landfill, creating clean streams of recycled materials that help to build our Circular Economy by promoting product stewardship of all Beverage Suppliers in Victoria.

 As the appointed Scheme Coordinator for CDS Vic, we work with government and partners to oversee the building of a large-scale container recycling network which will play a key role in transforming Victoria’s waste and recycling system. Through a 10c refund for every eligible container returned we will encourage Victorians to collect and recycle their beverage containers, making a positive difference to our people, environment and local industry.

**Description**:
**About the role**:
You will work closely with the Legal Manager and Chief Financial and Commercial Officer to provide contract management support to the Scheme by managing the relationship, obligations and administration of agreements with the Beverage Industry, Retailers, Wholesalers and the First Suppliers in the Victorian Container Deposit Scheme. Some key duties will include

Manage contract agreements with key Scheme Participants including First Suppliers and Exporters
Establish and maintain relationships with First Suppliers and Exporters
Maintain the product registration database to ensure the integrity of information is maintained
Work with the Finance team to manage and reduce outstanding aged debtors
Work closely with Contact Centre team to ensure a high standard of support is given to First Suppliers and exporters in a timely manner
Support the Scheme Integrity team to ensure the results of the audits conducted on First Suppliers are implemented

**Skills and Experiences**:
**About you**:
Legal or contract governance skills, including familiarity with contract documents
Demonstrated experience to plan, prioritise and manage competing timeframes to deliver outcomes within deadlines.
Ability to interpret policies and regulations, and the ability to adapt communicative styles to communicate processes to different stakeholder groups.
Ability to explain and to advocate for organisation procedures and work with key stakeholder groups.
