Our Purpose
VicReturn is an exciting new business, tasked with the oversight and administration of Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme ("CDS Vic"), which is scheduled to launch in November 2023.
At VicReturn we are motivated to help keep beverage containers out of landfill, creating clean streams of recycled materials that help to build our Circular Economy by promoting product stewardship of all Beverage Suppliers in Victoria.
As the appointed Scheme Coordinator for CDS Vic, we work with government and partners to oversee the building of a large-scale container recycling network which will play a key role in transforming Victoria's waste and recycling system.
Through a 10c refund for every eligible container returned we will encourage Victorians to collect and recycle their beverage containers, making a positive difference to our people, environment and local industry.

About the role:
VicReturn is seeking an experienced IT Product Manager to manage our technology products lifecycle from conception through to support assistance and retirement.
The IT Product Manager will work creatively with stakeholders, including developers, designers, and business owners, to ensure the IT products meet VicReturn's business and technical requirements.
Analyse, monitor and support VicReturn's IT products and their performance against key metrics with regular reporting and adjustments being implemented as required.
Develop the VicReturn IT product strategy and roadmap to leverage new technologies to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve recycling information flows and outcomes.
Working cross functionally across multiple teams, manage priorities to ensure the timely and quality release of product and enhancements.Skills and Experiences:
About you:
Bachelor or Postgraduate qualification in information technology, information systems, data science or related areas.
Demonstrable experience and an innovative, agile and sustainable perspective on IT product development.
Prior experience in managing IT products, upgrades and launches.
Prior experience in technical support and project management
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
