The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.

About you
As our Program Officer - Fellowship Support Program (FSP), you’ll have excellent customer service and administration skills, as well as highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. You will also have experience liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders with the ability to build effective working relationships. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
accredited training in business, administration, project coordination or other relevant
qualification.
demonstrated experience in a diverse administration role within a large-scale, complex organisation.
strong computer skills with knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Outlook and Excel) with the ability to learn and use new systems quickly and proficiently.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the Team Lead - FSP, this role is responsible for both administrative support in the coordination of effective and efficient operational functions of the Training Programs team and customer facing relationship management for FSP Registrars. In addition, you’ll:
support the delivery and expansion of the FSP by engaging with Registrars to support their journey through FSP
plan, organise and prioritise administrative support to develop, implement and maintain operational processes for a select cohort of FSP Registrars.
work with the Medical Education team to support initiatives related to the education and assessment framework.
monitor and report on Registrar progress from commencement to end of training
manage data duties working closely with the training programs and information systems team to ensure currency and accuracy of relevant data and records.
