Logistics Manager

Civardi Furniture is a leading Australian joinery manufacturer who specialises in high end commercial and residential fitouts. We manufacture all our joinery at our purpose built facility at Rydalmere, featuring state of the art machinery, spacious and modern workspaces and great staff amenities.
We are now looking to add an experienced joinery **Logistics Manager **to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and implementing stock level plans, dealing with suppliers to negotiate supply costs and delivery requirments in supply contracts, receiving and checking purchased goods, processing paperwork for purchase requests, including verifying incoming received goods and keeping records of stock levels and movement of stock for reordering.
- Working on storage and stock management, operating our Silo storage unit to monitor stock levels and manage supply requirements. Maintinaing storage records.
- Preparing items for delivery. Cleaning, securely packaging and labelling joinery before it is delivered to site or customers. Coordinating deliveries and updating systems and paperwork for goods dispatched. Recording dispatch and delivery records on systems to track movement of finished goods.
- Overseeing handling pf goods generally - forklift and storage of items, coordinating warehousing and storage of items and record keeping/updating systems for storage locations. Loading and unloading goods and delivering and picking up goods as required. Coordinating delivery drivers and third parties for delivery of finished goods. Supervision of other staff undertaking these tasks.
- Assisting with devising and implementing purchasing, storage and distribution policies.
We are looking for an individual who:
- has solid experience in joinery logistics
- drivers licence and forklift licence (required)
- posesses strong organisation skills
- has excellent computer skills
- has good people skills and a team player
- has a positive and proactive attitude and will represent Civardi positively with clients and suppliers
Remuneration starting from $70,000 per annum (plus super).
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
