**About the role**
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced trainer and assessor who wants to make a difference by supporting individuals to develop new industry skills and knowledge.
We are looking specifically for trainers and assessors to deliver training around the NSW Sydney Metropolitan and Greater Sydney region, for the following qualifications:
- CPP30719 - Certificate III in Waste Management
- TLI31222 - Certificate III in Driving Operations
**Main duties and responsibilities**:
- Conduct work based face-to-face sessions.
- Provide academic support and mentoring for students.
- Assess students’ knowledge and skills against defined marking criteria.
- Record students participation, progress, and assessment outcomes
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Engage in validations and assessment moderation.
- Contribute to course development and review processes, including Industry consultation.
**To be considered for this role you must have**:
- TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher qualification in adult education (essential)
- Vocational competence in the qualifications being delivered (essential)
- Minimum 3 years of recent industry experience in transport and logistics - **specifically commercial driving operations and/or supply chain operations **(essential)
- Evidence of professional development as a trainer and assessor (essential)
- Experience with online learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivities when working with diverse groups of students.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence.
- Ideally you will also have experience in the development of training and assessment tools and strategies.
**Job Type**: Freelance
**Salary**: From $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 24 per week
