**About You**
- You have demonstrated knowledge of, and sensitivity to, the mental health needs of consumers 18 years+ and their families.
- You have postgraduate experience working within Mental Health service or Mental Health Service.
- Minimum Tertiary Bachelor Degree in any of the following: Psychology, Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration or Social Work with AASW membership or Counselling or Community Welfare, with three years post graduate experience in mental health; OR Master's Degree Clinical Psychology with endorsement to practice as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA OR Tertiary Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Inc. Div. 1 AHPRA registration) with relevant post grad qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their post grad study.

**What you'll be doing**
- The Suicide Prevention Outreach Team (SPOT) works as part of the Mental Health Acute services offering clinical and non-clinical support to consumers 18 years+ engaged with the CCLHD Mental Health Services with either a recent suicide attempt or a suicidal crisis.
- This position will provide a timely and clinically appropriate response that supports people experiencing distress to remain in their community when safe to do so.
- As part of the Towards Zero initiative, the SPOT service aims to provide responsive, trauma informed, person-centred and recovery focused care to consumers engaged in Mental Health Services.
- While this position is embedded in the CCLHD Mental Health Service it maintains a focus on suicide prevention for the wider LHD.
- This position will also participate in the delivery of training and resources to support the adoption of the Suicide Prevention pathway across the service.

There will be a requirement to work after hours and/or weekends.

**This position is graded for the following**:

- Occupational Therapist Level 3
- Clinical Psychologist
- Senior Psychologist
- Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
- Social Worker Level 3
