The Towards Zero Suicides is a state wide initiative that seeks to provide leading best-practice crisis care and support. The initiative builds on local community resilience, and improves systems and practices to reduce the suicide rate in NSW.


This is an opportunity to for an experienced clinician to become part of the CCLHD Towards Zero Suicides the team provides a holistic approach to suicide prevention and mental health care to people experiencing suicidal crisis in an out-reach model.

As a senior clinician, the position will work across CCLHD Mental Health Services to deliver recovery-focused responsive care in suicide prevention.

This unique position will work alongside suicide prevention peer workers to deliver a forward thinking and collaborative service.

Based in the Safe Haven the role will offer a high level of autonomy whilst offering opportunities to work across other-acute services in CCLHD Mental Health Services.

The team will also be part of system changes and provide training for mental health practitioners across CCLHD.

There will also be opportunity to work after hours and/or weekends.
