Master Builders Insurance Brokers is a well-known specialist in the Construction and Home Warranty space having been an industry-leader for 18 years. They also operate as a General Insurance Broker and offer a range of products and services to a national client base.

MBIB’s Board of Directors are now seeking an experienced CEO to join their executive team, leading their vision and taking them to their next growth phase. This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic and engaging team whilst driving their ‘customer-first’ approach in market.

With a team of 80 people nationally, this role can be located in either of the two largest hubs - Melbourne or Sydney.

The key responsibilities include:

- Creation and delivery of the company vision and strategy in conjunction with the board and staff
- Leading an executive team of nine along with overseeing the broader team across multiple states
- Managing strategic relationships between key stakeholders, including Government Agencies, Industry bodies and Insurers
- Lead and influence the delivery of the financial result in line with set plans and targets
- Working closely with the board and keeping them abreast of relevant matters and seeking their advice on issues that require their support

You will ideally possess a combination of the following:

- Experience managing and leading a business, ideally across multiple states
- 10 + years of experience in General Insurance, ideally working in Construction Related Insurances
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen with previous experience managing a P&L and working to agreed budgets
- Proven capability to inspire, develop and lead an executive team
- Previous experience reporting to and collaboration with a Board
- Previous experience in managing external relationships with industry bodies and/or government agencies
