**The Opportunity**

The IT Architecture Manager role is a senior member of Transgrid’s Information & Technology (I&T) team, accountable for leading the Enterprise Architecture practice and directing the delivery of Technology Architecture services and artefacts to support the design and implementation of the organisation's technology asset portfolio.

The role will principally involve managing relationships with business partners, IT change management and IT support functions to help deliver the enterprise solutions.

The role will provide I&T Architecture services within the Transgrid I&T Management team to ensure:

- The Enterprise Architecture practice actively engages with the business and technology stakeholders.
- I&T Architecture engagements are focussed on delivering to the Technology Demand Pipeline
- Technology solutions are delivered to achieve business goals and can be effectively supported.
- Enterprise Architecture principles are created to support the business objectives and, agreed across the organisation.
- Technology portfolio transition roadmap plans are agreed and socialised.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications at degree level or equivalent experience in an IT Architecture management role.
- Experience with or certification in an IT Architecture framework, e.g. TOGAF.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong leadership & management skills to build consensus and facilitate collaborative decision making.
- Extensive experience with the design, delivery, and governance of I&T services within a complex commercial or regulated environment.
- Extensive exposure to the strategic management of a diverse I&T asset portfolio.
- Experience in managing a team of IT Architects.
- Experience in delivering I&T strategy papers and architecture roadmaps, ensuring alignment of technology initiatives with business goals to drive business value.

**Desirable**
- Experience with COBIT and ITIL frameworks
- Exposure to industrial control (Operation Technology OT) systems.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture tools and frameworks.
