Leading children’s health charity seeks fundraising professional to lead team, drive and implement strategy for Major Gifts and Trusts and Foundations program.

**ROLE**
Due to recent movement in the team, this is an incredible opportunity for an experienced Philanthropy Fundraising professional with management experience to lead and drive strategy of their growing Major Gifts and Trusts and Foundations program.

Managing a team of four, you get to develop and execute strategy, oversee researching and prospecting, build relationships with major gift, foundation and gift in will prospects and develop stewardship programs for major donors.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, you will work collaboratively and support the success of other staff and teams including Clinical Programs and families, Fundraising and Communications and Operations.

**YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES**
- Significant experience in major gifts and business development in the not-for-profit sector
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to develop ongoing relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in managing people
- Ability to work under pressure with competing timelines
- Experience in targeted prospecting of new and existing clients/donors
- Goals focussed and solutions orientated
- Skilled at working successfully in team environment exercising initiative, judgement and discretion
- A current NSW Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one

The following will be highly regarded:

- Proven experience in achieving philanthropic income, especially from Major Gifts, Trusts, Foundations and Grant opportunities
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Business, Marketing or Communications
