We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Support Officer to join our client, a local council in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team within a progressive organisation, making a real difference in your local community.

**The Opportunity**
In this contract role, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional IT support to staff across the organisation. You'll be responsible for handling a variety of user queries, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth operation of critical IT systems.

**What You'll Bring**
- Experience in providing IT support, including both phone and deskside services.
- Experience working in in local government.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Experience supporting Citrix environments is highly desirable.
- ITIL foundation knowledge is a plus.
- Unrestricted driver's license (C Class) and the ability to travel across work sites.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous learning.
