Business Support Officer, Apac

A challenging opportunity to join IDP Connect as a **Business Support Officer (APAC)** during a period of exciting growth.

The Business Support Officer (APAC) will provide a range of business and administration support services and some project management for IDP Connect APAC.

This role is responsible for delivering accurate and efficient business support across all streams in the IDP Connect APAC team, including Student Placement, Digital Marketing, IQ Services, External Relations, Client Success, and Conferences and Events.

The Business Support Officer (APAC) will work collaboratively with fellow team members to provide support in areas including, but not limited to, finance, legal, systems, and reporting.

The Business Support Officer (APAC) may be asked to lead on delivering key projects within the areas mentioned but also work on day-to-day tasks which include contributing to the management both small
- & large-scale events for clients and internal stakeholders.

This opportunity is a limited term, full-time opportunity to cover Parental Leave up until January 2024.

**Key Deliverables**

The varied nature of the role calls for flexibility and willingness to learn new skills along the way, the following capabilities are expected to be successful in this position.

**Primary Deliverables**

**Agreement management**
- Manage all Agreements and similar documents to ensure they are in term and up to date
- Provide support for terminating Clients, and onboarding new Clients including managing due diligence process supporting Client Managers’ in preparing induction packs
- Liaison with IDP Finance Team to deploy and manage financial terms negotiated in Client agreements
- Provide advice to Client Managers re. IDP Finance systems and processes to assist in agreement negotiation

**Reporting support**
- Lead on reporting for ‘website solutions’ and other sales support reporting requirements
- Ad hoc sales support as defined by the Commercial Director or Head of Client Success
- SME for key IDP Connect-dependent systems, including CVENT, C4C, OBIEE, EBS Finance

**Finance support**
- Triage and assist in issues escalation and resolution for issues generated by Clients or IDP Finance
- Oversee all IDP Connect APAC client invoicing and accounts receivable and payable
- Assist with budgeting and tracking for IDP Connect APAC

**Marketing and event management support**
- Provide logistics and administrative support for IDP Connect APAC events, including but not limited to Advisory Panel meetings, sector conferences (i.e. APAIE, NZIEC), client briefings/roadshows
- Support for webinars and client communications
- AIEC:

- Contract support
- Finance support: invoices, reporting, budgets and reconciliation
- Booth coordination for IDP booth (design, build and artwork)
- Travel and logistics for IDPC APAC team and AIEC Crew
- Organisation of Conference Crew and handover to onsite crew manager
- Support with meeting organisation, note and actions, and communications
- Monitoring of IDP staff memberships for IEAA

**To be successful, you will possess**:

- Experience of managing a variety of legal documents - e.g. agreements, contracts, deeds of variation, MoU’s, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills - Keen eye for detail - Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic budgeting experience
- A customer-focused approach to your work

**And if this weren't enough, good to have**:

- Manage and prioritise workload with competing demands and multiple priorities
- Ability to work autonomously and in a constantly changing environment
- Experience of coordinating travel and events
