**About the Organization**:
Our client is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing support and services for survivors of child sexual abuse. Their mission is to offer workshops, counseling, and advocacy to help survivors and their families heal and thrive. Beyond frontline services, they also work to increase public awareness about the impact of childhood sexual abuse and to advocate for organisational and policy change.

**Role Overview**:
As part of our counselling team, you will play a crucial role in providing face-to-face, telephone, and online counseling, psychoeducation, and trauma-informed support to survivors, as well as their partners, family members, and friends. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the well-being of survivors and their relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver evidence-based counselling and trauma-informed support to survivors of child sexual abuse.
- Provide counseling and support to partners, family members, and friends of survivors.
- Offer guidance and training to staff and stakeholders to enhance trauma-informed support for survivors.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and organizational policies in maintaining client records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision.
- Advocate for survivors and their families, fostering self-advocacy and capacity building.
- Contribute to the development of resources and services that enhance support for survivors and their loved ones.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines (Psychology, Social Work, Counselling).
- Current registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., AHPRA, AASW, PACFA).
- Proven counseling experience in trauma practice, particularly with survivors of childhood trauma.
- Understanding of the long-term impacts of childhood sexual assault.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Relevant vaccinations, including COVID-19.
