Mental Health Clinician | Greater Western Sydney

As a Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing accessible, mental health services and support in the community. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within a trauma-informed framework
  • Provide advanced social work assessments and interventions to patients and families.
  • Conduct intake assessments and provide mid-term (3 to 6 months) therapeutic services to the clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Offer counseling, emotional support, and practical assistance to individuals and families facing medical challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling, Nurse, OT or Psychology
  • Registration with the relevant accreditation body in your field. 
  • Ability to conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to build a rapport with a range of clients
  • Experienced with strength-based, recovery-oriented models of service.
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster over 6 days 
  • Car and license ideal
