Randstad has partnered with Hydro Tasmania for an exciting opportunity to join the renewable energy industry for an Electrical Drafting Officer.
The recruitment of this position constitutes part of the Randstad Recruitable Hydro Tasmania Pilot and is open only to applicants with disability. **About the Team**
An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Engineering team as a Electrical Drafting Officer on a full or part time permanent basis.
**About the role**
As an Electrical Drafter, you will have the ability to work on a variety of capital upgrade projects within part of the Hydro Tasmania asset portfolio as well as support ongoing Maintenance and Operations teams. The Electrical Drafting Officer is responsible for providing accurate detailed designs within project scope definition, timeline and budget.
- Prepare and revise technical drawings for capital work upgrades
- Provide a high level of attention to detail with drawings being produced
- Confident in using a variety of CAD software packages to complete drawings, previous experience with the Autodesk software favourable.

**About you**
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Design or Drafting) or equivalent
- Technical background in similar field (electrician, panel builder etc.)
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and understanding of Australian Standards
- Strong communication skills
