About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide specialist genetic services to patients of GHQ, pursuant to the policies and practices adopted by Queensland Health and the Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
- The role will contribute to the future development of Genetic Health Queensland (GHQ), including its outreach, research and education programs.
- GHQ Consultants and Registrars are required to participate in a roster for outreach clinics.
- In this role you will provide high quality assessment and care to outpatients (and some inpatients) of a broad range of low and high acuity under the direction and support of the Service Consultants. This role will provide you with opportunity to develop your clinical geneticist skills in a supportive environment
