Since 2009, our people, partnerships, suppliers and local flight testing and training facilities have effectively supported defence, commercial and civil customers. We are committed to maintaining and further developing our local supply chains and supporting Australia's sovereign capability as a vital component to a strong Australian defence industry sector.
We are currently seeking **Project Coordinator** to join our team. Located in Alderley, Insitu Pacific head office is less than 10 minutes' drive from Army's Gallipoli Barracks in Enoggera, and 20 minutes from Brisbane CBD.
**The Opportunity**
As the **Project Coordinator** you will primarily support Project Management Specialists to achieve desired outcomes on commercial and defence projects, on time and within budget, in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g. PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), ANSI, and ISO standards). The Project Coordinator will also support Sales Specialists in the development of proposals for submission to customers.
**Responsibilities**
- Supporting Project Managers in day-to-day activities including estimating, cost and schedule control, tracking of contract deliverables, risks, issues, action items, spares, repairs, technical enquiries and KPI Tracking.
- Contributing to the development of scopes of work, project plans, integrated schedules, communications plans and other articles for customer deliverables and proposals.
- Attending customer meetings and telecons as required including taking of notes and compilation of minutes and coordination of follow-up actions.
- Supporting supply management activities including interactions with suppliers, Statement of Work development, deliverable acceptance activities and meetings.
- Coordinating project review activity and status reporting for recurring project process and progress documentation.
- Assisting in gathering project related information including cost, schedule, quality, risk and safety data to support the creation and production of various internal and external reporting requirements.
- Assisting with generation of Estimates, Pricing, Proposals and responses to Tenders.
- Building rapport and trust among stakeholders to promote program goals.
- Performing other duties as directed.
**Experience/Qualifications**
- Demonstrated experience using collaborative working relationships within and outside the organisation to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
- Knowledge of how the business and organisation operates; knowledge of policies, practices and information affecting the business and organisation.
- Ability to understand the ‘big picture' and the inter-relationship of different business areas within the organisation and different programs.
- Knowledge of Project Management theory, concepts and principles contained in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
- Eligibility for an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
Desirable criteria
- Qualification in Program Management or related field.
- Experience in UAS Operations.
