**Your future role**:
Alstom have a permanent opening for an EHS & Rail Safety Coordinator to join our team in Dandenong, VIC.

**We’ll look to you for**:

- Deploying and maintain procedures and tools specific for EHS Management System in line with Transport and EHS Management System.
- Ensuring EHS risk assessment is undertaken and that the appropriate measures to control risks are defined.
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation of the site while monitoring compliance.
- Implementing an EHS training plan and program.
- Ensuring that the Safety Management System is well maintained and in line with required standards.
- Reviewing and testing the various emergency plans and delivery of Safety induction training.
- Prioritising accidents/incidents are first prevented, and if occurring writing thorough reports, recording the incident, ensuring this has been investigated and analysed.
- Participating in the Alstom EHS & Safety audits and accreditation program.

**All about you**:

- Certificate IV or Diploma in health and safety.
- Rail or heavy industry project experience in a similar role, with sound knowledge of local legal requirements.
- Initiative, drive and resilience, with the ability to influence people at all levels within the operations.
- Strong knowledge of safe working systems, rules and procedure.
