As the HR & EHS Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in implementing, supporting, and enhancing workplace HR and environmental health and safety (EHS) initiatives. You will be responsible for maintaining the EHS management system, conducting risk assessments, audits, and identifying process improvements to fortify workplace safety. Additionally, you will ensure contractor safety compliance, manage HR and EHS records, investigate incidents, and coordinate return-to-work programs and safety training.
- **NOTE* - This role is 2 days per week.**_

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement, support, and enhance workplace HR and EHS initiatives.
- Maintain the EHS management system and conduct risk assessments, audits, and process improvements.
- Ensure contractor safety compliance and manage HR and EHS records.
- Investigate incidents and provide detailed analysis and recommendations for improving safety measures.
- Coordinate return-to-work programs, safety training, and OHS committee meetings.
- Ensure compliance with 14001 and FSC standards and their reimplementation.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Cert. IV in WHS or relevant field.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Knowledgeable, efficient, and engaging.
- Ability to provide high-level WHS and HR assistance to the Director and leadership team.
