G.James Aluminium Products Division (in Eagle Farm Brisbane) has established an exceptional reputation for providing end-to-end supply chain solutions - specialising in Australian manufactured custom and standard geometric aluminium extrusions. With our in-house die design, brand new state of the art "Industry 4.0" automated extrusion press facility, surface finishing, processing and machining capabilities, we offer a complete product and service package.

**The Role**
Our Procurement Co-ordinator supports our busy manufacturing facilities and is responsible for purchasing and managing and broad range of raw materials and consumables across the whole aluminium extrusion, fabrication, surface finishing, packing/despatch and maintenance departments. Tasks will include:

- Research, analyse, recommend, purchase and monitor for effective procurement of goods and services (sourced locally and overseas) to support the aluminium division
- Create and maintain positive relationships, daily interactions, returns/credit, and monitor performance of suppliers
- Create and distribute procurement support to production managers
- Create, review and monitor purchase (requisition) orders and cost allocations
- Assist with stock management, stock holding and best inventory control techniques and cyclic stocktaking
- Maintain electronic supplier agreements and items (Oracle EBS)
- Provide procurement administration support and timely reporting

**The Person**:

- Previous experience and achievement in procurement / purchasing processes, activities, systems (preferably within a manufacturing / industrial industry) - essential
- Relevant higher education qualifications (procurement, purchasing, warehousing, logistics) - preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confident and with the ability to use your initiative and make this role your own
- Experience with Oracle EBS (or other ERP system) would be an advantage
