HR Partners by Randstad is looking for a Workforce Coordinator to join our government client site in Brisbane. This role is a temporary role for 12months, Monday-Friday within the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm. Paying $60.26 per hour.

About the role:
The OCIO Technology Business Management team requires an ICT Workforce Coordinator to assist the OCIO Business Management Team in ensuring the OCIO appropriate management of Resources. The APS6 ICT Workforce Coordinator position is a team leadership position which will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve complex recruitment issues and risks across a range of activities. The position provides leadership, advice, and support in relation to ICT workforce coordination, recruiting, and supporting OCIO senior stakeholders on their workforce plan and reporting.
- Identifying and prioritising business demands through coordinating, monitoring, and collating data for workforce planning and reporting (including overview of APS and Labour Hire Worker).
- Overseeing compliance related activities using relevant legislation, policy frameworks and procedures.
- Resolving problems using knowledge and experience and taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
- Providing advice, procedural guidance, and technical expertise in specific areas of APS recruitment and Labour Hire Worker procurement.
- Supporting the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Providing support to team members and peers to complete activities in peak periods and or periods of (un)scheduled leave.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate to your role and duties.
- Engage stakeholders to assist resolution of issues that hinder the efficient completion of assigned tasks.
- Assist other team members to complete activities in peak periods and or periods of (un)scheduled leave.

About the individual:

- Demonstrated ability to undertake complex recruitment advice and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislative, financial, recruitment and administrative frameworks and government decision making processes.
- Demonstrated experience in the ability to provide high level advice on a range on complex operational, procedural, administration, and business management activities.
- Accountable for accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements.
- Maintain and update operational policies of the OCIO Business Management Team.
- Maintain a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
- Have the ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards; and manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Working understanding of Managing Commonwealth Resources framework.
