Indigenous Event Assistant Business Traineeship

Look no further Maxima, in partnership with Westpac, are looking for a motivated individual to join their Events Team as a full-time trainee.
Westpac is Australia’s first, largest and oldest bank operating for over 200 years. Westpac Group provides personal, business, and corporate banking services, as well as superannuation, investment, and wealth management. Westpac offers their employees many opportunities for career progression and skills development in the banking and financial sectors.
Day-to-day you will provide high quality administrative support and assist to plan and deliver events for the internal Westpac Group and their various clients. Across 12-months you will receive hands-on industry experience and study towards a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Business.**

**Duties Include**:
- Monitor the event team inbox, following up where required
- Provide exceptional customer service to suppliers, managers and event attendees
- Assist to pack and set-up event collateral
- Schedule team meetings and prepare agendas
- Provide support for all event audio visual and technology
- Additional administrative tasks including stationery orders and event reporting etc.

- Strong work ethic; punctual and reliable
**Role Requirements**:
- Great communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient with various technology including Microsoft Office
