Job Overview:
At Mastercard, we are seeking a highly motivated and driven Digital Product Manager to join the Product and Innovation team for Australasia. In this role, you will have end to end ownership of key digital products and the strategy, go to market and localisation across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior member of the Digital team, owning and developing strategic business plans, product roadmaps and go to market for digital products, and delivering against these objectives.
- Own the product end to end, which includes elements of business development, go to market, commercialisation, localisation, regulatory considerations, strategy and product development.
- Support stakeholder technical discussions for entire product lifecycle from pre-sales, implementation through to established customers.
- Provide product expertise to support RFPs and other customer engagements.
- Create and deliver sales presentations directly to clients in order to drive adoption of your digital product set and help our customers optimise their digital experiences to drive business outcomes.
- Provide regular and clear updates to internal stakeholders on progress, challenges and support required against defined objectives.
- Collaborate across Mastercard including with sales, marketing, delivery, legal, technical teams and others, both locally and globally.
- Craft compelling value propositions that differentiate our products in the market.
- Collaborate in the planning, development, and implementation of product marketing strategies, including advertising and promotional activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of product development operations and a keen understanding of the payments industry.
- Experience in within payments industry, particularly digital product, is highly desirable.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of management experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Highly motivated with the ability to take full ownership and act as a leader in the team.
- Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Solid understanding of the payments industry, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions to business challenges.
- Business acumen combined with a strong customer focus and exceptional analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including impactful presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a matrixed organization.
Work Conditions:
Domestic and occasional international travel required.
