Overview
Open Banking is a worldwide phenomenon, that has been accelerating in many markets driven by the commercial opportunities it presents for banks and Fintechs. Mastercard has built an initial suite of Open Banking Solutions and is now in the process of bringing them to market, commercializing and enhancing them. Mastercard's acquisition of Finicity has helped advance our overall strategy in the US and other key markets including Australia.
This new role is pivotal in enabling Mastercard to establish and expand our open banking presence in Australia. This individual will oversee the implementation of key strategic initiatives, ensuring successful execution and launch of our Open Banking solutions with customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Go-to-market focused role, which entails implementing and scaling the product offering through deep client research and market analysis with the help of sales and other streams
- Supports the delivery of end-to-end project at all stages
- Works closely with global teams, regional leadership, and sales colleagues to understand customer needs
- Monitors product performance metrics at all stages of the product life cycle, and makes recommendations regarding solutions to challenges in the portfolio or product strategy
- Provides support to sales and customer facing teams with communication and training on product functionality and enhancements
Experiences
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
- Excellent in communication skills
- Possess strong analytical skills, is detail oriented and demonstrates the ability to operate effectively in a complex global environment
- Experience contributing data-driven product adjustment recommendations that were accepted for implementation by senior leaders
- Extensive experience working on product launches
- Willing to expand skills and diversify skill sets
