**Your new company**

Our client is State Government authority tasked with providing infrastructure planning and project management broadly speaking to provide better resilience to major events as well as helping with disaster recovery for unforeseen or natural disasters over and above the planned resilience. They are looking to engage the services of a senior civil engineer with experience of roads, bridges and associated infrastructure to provide some specialised expertise to the team.

**Your new role**

In your new role you will provide technical leadership to help deliver road, bridges and other infrastructure projects. The projects are repaired as result of natural disasters or built proactively to assist with mitigating the impact of future events, these projects are often in regional or remote areas. The role is involved with the planning, procurement and delivery of the infrastructure and therefore requires an experienced Civil Engineer with significant experience and broad experience across full project life-cycle.

Client offering an interesting and challenging role. They are looking at asap start and an initial 6-month contract with extensions. They work on rewarding projects that have a genuine impact on quality of life for those impacted by natural disasters and also good contractor rates. Suggest senior engineer at A08 level so hourly rates around 850 per day plus super with little bit of flexibility for those with very strong and relevant experience
