About the Opportunity

Key responsibilities include;
Manage the day-to-day marketing operations function, including marketing and communication requests and team leadership;
Develop and execute tactical marketing and communication plans that will create a meaningful connection with customers;
Develop and manage a marketing calendar, including events, key campaigns, marketing projects and 'always on' activities;
Define and lead the execution of the content and social media strategy;
Perform effective copywriting and collateral development;
Engage with Multicap customers and staff to share stories which bring the brand to life;
Collaborate with industry experts and develop influential content to make a positive impact in the community;
Support with media enquiries, including monitoring and proactively identifying media and public relations opportunities;
Manage content execution across multiple channels, including EDM, LinkedIn, Instagram, SEO, Google, and social paid channels;
Work with relevant business areas to coordinate and execute internal and external events and activations;
Define and lead the internal communications strategy, delivering content that will inform and inspire employees; and

Measure, analyse and report on all marketing activities, using insights to make recommendations for further optimisation,

About you

This role would suit a mid-level generalist marketing communications specialist who is ready to take on a leadership role and flex their strategic skills. To be considered for this role, your background and skill set must cover the following:
Key Selection criteria

Relevant qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications etc;
Minimum five (5) years' experience in a generalist marketing communications role, including campaign management, copywriting and content creation, social media, PR, communications etc;
Demonstrated experience in delivering effective marketing communications strategies across a variety of online and offline channels;
Operational background in eDM, soci;al media, content creation, paid digital, campaign management, event management and communications

Proven ability to effectively create tactical marketing communications plans and activities that deliver results;
Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including expertise in proofreading and editing;
Ability to lead a team and build value in people to drive momentum and growth within a department;
Demonstrated ability to manage competing timelines and foster great working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders; and

Genuine passion for and alignment with the Multicap mission and values.
