**Intro**:

- The key focus of this newly created role will be to support the Supply Chain and Logistics team in day-to-day operations to achieve our agreed deliverables.Yumbah Aquaculture is quickly becoming Australia’s leading shellfish aquaculture company. The business operates nationally in some of the most pristine waters of Australia including Tasmania, Victoria, and South Australia. We farm abalone, oysters, and mussels for both domestic and international consumer markets as well as oyster, spat for the Tasmanian and South Australian oyster industry. We are poised for an exciting growth phase on several fronts through a focus on driving organic improvement by margin optimisation through sales execution, farming optimisation, lease and site development to increase capacity, and further acquisitions. An opportunity now exists for a Supply Chain and Logistics Administrator to join our team in a newly created, permanent, full-time position.

**About the role**:
The key focus of this newly created role will be to support the Supply Chain and Logistics team in the day-to-day operations to achieve our agreed deliverables and outcomes.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Data integrity and management of inventory operating platform
- Accurate data entry
- Record production reporting data
- Standard product coding ensuring the integrity of data is aligned with Yumbah policies
- Consumable monitoring and reporting
- Report packaging & consumable inventory
- Maintain inventory control workbooks
- Maintain the supplier database for the list of products
- Purchasing & managing internal and external suppliers
- Complete internal Yumbah and external farms purchase orders
- Monitor and report inbound material flows to forecasts
- Regularly communicate with 3rd party process providers
- Administration Support
- Maintain data analysis tools for production, supply chain, and logistics operations
- Assist with the internal training manual of Yumbah operations such as DEAR
- Management of the Supply Chain and Logistic reporting dashboard
- Logistics Support for Domestic and International
- Prepare all documentation for domestic and international movement of finished goods to the customers or freight forward partners
- Process various internal stock movement tasks
- Prepare and process internal documentation
- Follow up on deliveries to ensure DIFOT target levels
- Keep the costs for freight in check and quarterly review/update quotes required
- Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory control workbooks
- Monitor finished and bulk stock levels are aligned with the Yumbah inventory policies
- Monitor aged stock level to ensure FIFO policy is maintained

**Skills, experience & attributes**:

- Strong skills in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight details and work in a faced paced environment
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable)
