**The opportunity**

The State Supply Chain Manager plays an instrumental role in connecting communities with the products they need and love. This role will lead teams operating across South Australia and Western Australia. These teams are responsible for managing distribution centres and delivering exceptional customer service across multiple sites within the region. The primary focus is to ensure that the business performance goals for these sites and are consistently met in terms of safety, people leadership, service quality, and financial metrics.

The Supply Chain Manager provides invaluable support and solutions to our retail partners. This involves guaranteeing that Delivery In Full, On Time, Error-Free (DIFOTEF) targets are achieved, promptly resolving any queries that arise, and implementing operational process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

**About you
This is an exciting position for a forward-thinking leader. You are process-driven and engaging with an empowering style that is supportive and involves collaboration with a wide circle of people across the organisation, where you are required to drive and influence change.

As the State Supply Chain Manager you will have a highly developed understanding of supermarkets and Distribution Centres (DC), and a cross-functional understanding of the Woolworths Group businesses or a similarly complex environment.

You will actively lead and manage teams across multiple sites to achieve business goals and performance targets, focusing on safety, people, service, and financial measures. Provide ongoing support and solutions to our retail partners, ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries, and driving operational process improvements. Develop and execute business strategies, aligning them with supply chain goals and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.

You will be people-focused with a strong background in creating high-performing and inclusive teams and significant experience in identifying and developing talent.

Furthermore, you will sponsor and lead change initiatives within the DC, including partnering with support functions throughout Primary Connect and other business units in the Woolworths Group.
