**About the role**

We have a newly created position for a Head of Business Development for our Energy Solutions division.

This role will be responsible for Business Development activities to provide scalable solutions to bring down overall electricity demand for our clients. You will be part of a market making business that will provide energy efficient solutions such as LED lighting, rooftop solar, batteries and other new technology.

This role has the ability to have a significant impact on reducing Australia's energy consumption with Ventia's clients across a range of industry sectors and play a major part in solving energy transition challenges across the country.

This position is a full-time permanent opportunity with flexible working spending time in the office, on the road and from home. Options to base out of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide offices. Other office locations would be considered.

**About You**
- Relevant qualifications within a commercial or engineering discipline.
- Well development experience with how to structure complex deals at scale.
- Experience within project management, tender submission or business development environments with the submission of proposals.
- An advantage but not essential, practical knowledge of new energy efficient technologies, energy supply and storage.
- Commercially astute and able to drive commercial outcomes.
