Wealth99 is Australia's leading digital asset and crypto wealth platform, designed for the 99% of investors. Digital assets and AI technologies are set to disrupt the wealth sector, enabling the majority of investors to access the same high-performing assets and advice traditionally reserved for the top 1%.
Our target market, the trillion-dollar 'affluent' sector, has been the slowest to adopt crypto investment - until now. This is expected to shift dramatically in 2025, and we are already seeing changing attitudes among affluent investors and their financial professionals. Wealth99 stands apart with a system that collaborates with accountants, offers institutional-grade security through licensed custody, and provides free expert support via our 'Specialists.'
2025 is the year we plan to scale rapidly, positioning ourselves as leaders in this next evolution of Australia's wealth sector. The cornerstone of our growth will be expanding our Specialist Team into a nationwide force, serving as trusted partners to financial professionals and their affluent clients.
Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Business Development professional with financial services experience to lead the expansion of our Specialist-based sales model. Your mission will be to drive client acquisition and investment growth by building a national network of expert independent Specialists and financial professional partners - scaling this model as quickly as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Funds Under Administration (FUA): Drive the growth of funds under administration to achieve agreed growth targets. Collaborate closely with Product and Operations teams to ensure a seamless funding process.
- Specialist Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing nationwide team of Wealth99 Specialists who consistently operate in a professional and productive manner.
- Account Development: Oversee the delivery of new client accounts through the Specialist team, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Financial Professional (FinPro) Network Expansion: Expand and strengthen the network of referring Financial Professionals (FinPros) through the Specialists. Aim to position Wealth99 as the leading partner for digital assets in the market.
- Product Feedback: Partner with the product team to refine and develop capabilities that meet a well-defined product-market fit, ensuring the offerings remain competitive and relevant.
- Leadership and Vision: Collaborate with the broader Wealth99 team to establish dominance in this emerging area of wealth management.
- Travel: Undertake occasional national travel to build and maintain the Specialist network. Leverage digital tools to connect with the team and optimize nationwide operations.
- CRM Management and Sales Support:
- Develop and manage robust sales pipelines using the CRM to ensure efficiency and visibility across the Specialist team.
- Use the CRM to monitor team performance, track sales progress, and maintain accountability.
- Work closely with the marketing team to build and enhance a support system for Specialists.
- Drive the growth of the nationwide events program, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and target markets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record of success in developing and managing teams that drive sales in financial products.
- People Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership expertise, including experience building and managing high-performing teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with or an understanding of the crypto and/or wealth industry is advantageous.
- Training/Education Knowledge: Experience in training and educating individuals in a commercial setting, valuable for Client, Specialist, and FinPro development.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic working knowledge of digital wealth management platforms and the ability to engage with them is desirable.
- CRM Proficiency: Expertise using CRM software and managing teams through it, with a strong preference for proficiency in HubSpot Sales Hub.
