**Payroll Administrator.**

This role is head-office based on the Gold Coast with occasional travel to their breathtaking and picturesque facilities located in the Southeast of Brisbane.

**The Role**:
As the Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the accounts department. Your primary responsibilities are to manage the end-to-end payroll processes for approximately 200 staff.

This multifaceted role also involves overseeing the Time Management System, liaising with department managers to ensure accurate timesheets, and maintaining precise payroll information.

This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and is part of a team of 4.

More specifically, the responsibilities cover the following key accountabilities:

- Process weekly payroll using Access Micropay.
- Manage the Time Management System - Humanforce.
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure accurate timesheets.
- Collect, calculate, and enter data to maintain and update payroll information.
- Perform payroll creditors and reconciliations.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and interpret Awards when needed.
- Provide advice to managers and employees regarding wage payments, superannuation, and entitlements, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Prepare and lodge superannuation obligations, monthly and year-end payroll reports and reconciliations.
- Conduct regular reconciliations for staff on annualised salaries.
- Develop ad hoc financial and operational reports as needed.
- **Experience**: 5+ years’ relevant experience in a payroll position.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- **Access Micropay**: Essential expertise in using Access Micropay.
- **Humanforce HR/Time Management**: Highly advantageous experience with Humanforce HR/time management system.
- **Microsoft Excel Proficiency**: Skilled in Excel with the ability to adapt and learn new formulas.
- **Team Collaboration**: A team player who thrives in a small team environment.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- **Adaptability**: Capable of following instructions from senior team members and independently handling tasks while being proactive and multitasking effectively.
- **Passion and Enthusiasm**: A strong passion for hands-on work and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment.
- **Self-Motivation**: Self-motivated and able to perform under pressure.
- **Positive Communication**: Engaging personality with effective computer, time management, written, and verbal communication skills.
- **Work Rights**: Must have full working rights within Australia.
