Their office is based on the Southern end of the Gold Coast and are seeking a passionate Payroll Officer to join their team on the Gold Coast. This position will require a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a high-volume environment.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the full payroll function, payroll administration and the upkeep of payroll data. Your primary focus will be ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee payroll. Processing numerous payrolls for many employees, you will need to respond to payroll queries within our agreed service levels, along with responsibility for calculating pay increases, back pays and processing leave reconciliations.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will need to have good computer literacy and numerical data processing speed and accuracy, knowledge of manual and computerised payroll systems and time and attendance software, developed communication skills, interpersonal skills, a great attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- You will need a high attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Previous experience with volume processing of data and any payroll or comparative experience
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Understanding of payroll systems or ability to learn quickly (technologies used are TimeTarget/Humanforce for Timesheets and Groundstar for Rostering)

Our client is looking for an immediate start for 3 months M-F at 38-40 hours a week / potential for 4 days a week. Ideally, you will have no holidays booked for Dec/Jan.
