**Job description**:
A new Project Coordinator is required to join a Brisbane-based local government department on an initial 12 month contract.
As the ICT Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role within our Portfolio Delivery team in the Information Services Branch. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and facilitate project activities across various projects within our Portfolio.
Reporting to the Portfolio Delivery Manager, you will work closely with Project Managers to ensure the seamless execution of projects. Your role will encompass a wide range of project coordination tasks that are essential for successful project delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborating with Project Managers to maintain accurate and up-to-date Cost Plans, Schedules, and Risks and Issues Registers in Project Online.
- Ensuring the accuracy and regular transference of cost plans to Project Online.
- Efficiently capturing meeting minutes to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
- Providing administrative support, including scheduling and setting up meetings.
- Managing procurement activities using SAP to ensure the timely acquisition of necessary resources.
- Preparing materials to support Project Control Group meetings and other project-related communications.
- Assisting Project Managers in overseeing suppliers and ensuring compliance with contract delivery clauses.
- Playing an active role in ensuring the successful delivery of our specified program of work.
- Coordinating induction activities for new project team members to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
