**Why Your Role Matters**:
As the Graduation Event Production Manager you will play a lead and strategic role within the Registrar & Student Services portfolio.

The position entails overseeing the planning and execution of graduation ceremonies and related events, with responsibility for significant resources. On a day to day basis you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including academic departments, faculties, vendors, and campus partners, to ensure the successful delivery of exceptional graduation experiences aligned with the strategic direction of the Division of Education & Student Experience.

***Who You Are**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proven advanced management expertise and supporting experience in event planning and production, preferably in a higher education setting or with large-scale ceremonies or events.
- Excellent project management skills, demonstrating the ability to plan, prioritise, and allocate resources within established constraints.
- Demonstrated organisational and attention-to-detail abilities, ensuring accurate execution of complex event logistics and the development of major policies and programs.
- Excellent stakeholder consultation, influencing and negotiation skills and proven ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. Advanced knowledge of event technology and software tools for registration, ticketing, and data management.
- Substantial budget management experience, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting, with a demonstrated ability to manage significant resources.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and exercise judgment and problem-solving skills in realtime during event operations and when shaping policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with accessibility and inclusivity considerations in event planning, ensuring equitable experiences for all attendees.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed during peak event seasons.
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
